Pro 3:5-6 ”Trust in the LORD with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.”
MOMYS – support and encouragement for Mothers Of Many Young Siblings who purpose to live their lives in a way that brings honor and glory to God and His Son, the Messiah, the Living Word.
MOMYS began as an offshoot from the Quiverful Digest back in the early days of the internet. [Quiverful is the concept of striving to allow God control of our lives, and that includes childbearing.] The Quiverful list was for men and women who were interested in that concept. Joan Parker wrote one day saying, now that we have committed to this lifestyle and God has blessed us with many children – How do we DO this? Would anyone be interested in a spin-off group of mothers only who talk about how to manage the logistics of a large family? From that, MOMYS was born.

The MOMYS Forums are moderated.Children, Homemaking, Health & Fitness, and special places for Adoptive MOMYS, older MOMYS whose ‘four age 8 and under’ are growing up or grown up, grieving MOMYS and ‘not-quite’ MOMYS who don’t yet have four children. MOMYS began as an e-mail list that was an off-shoot of the Quiverful Digest e-mail list. For the first 10 years it was hosted on a personal computer. In 2007 the digest became hosted on Yahoo Groups for ease in moderating and support. You do NOT have to have a yahoo account to be a member, you can join the digest with any e-mail address. You will be asked to set up a yahoo account, but it is not a requirement. The posts are not the same posts as are on the forums. Many MOMYS log into the forums on the website AND stay involved in the e-mail list.
