Living History with Pete & Roxy Olson

Historian, Homeschool Dad, Rancher, Pastor Pete Olson will guide us through the history of Early America as we visit Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown.

The Nighttime Lantern Tour in Colonial Williamsburg is a long-time MOMYS Retreat favorite.

Colonial Dancing with Jerry & Tara Reynolds

Colonial / English Country Dancing is great for the whole family, from babes in arms to Grandparents.
No experience needed – just show up and join in. Costumes are optional but add to the fun.

Colonial Dancing

Dance Master Jerry Reynolds makes
learning family-style colonial dancing
fun and accessible for everyone.

At first, some people feel a little
hesitant, but Jerry’s playful, clear
instruction quickly draws everyone
in. Dancing begins at the All-
Together-Get-Together and
continues throughout the week at
the King’s Ball and Dancing on the
Green in Colonial Williamsburg.

History comes to Life!

Engage with costumed interpreters
at Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown,
and Yorktown.

Chat with skilled craftspeople at
work or encounter the nation
builders themselves: George and
Martha Washington, Thomas
Jefferson, or James Madison.

History isn’t just learned — it’s
experienced.

How to Register

Registration is simple.

To register for the MOMYS Spring 2027 Family Week Retreat, please email us with your family name,
the names and ages of those attending, and any add-on guests you would like to include. Include your
address, email, and phone numbers please. Or use the link below to register by Google Doc.
